Hello, I'm Heisook Lee, President of the Korea Center for Gendered Innovations for Science and Technology Research.

Today, as science and technology are recognized as essential to a happy future for humanity, the social responsibility of science and technology to solve complex problems facing humanity is highlighted, and the demand for R&D is expanding to the entire society.

However, scientific evidence shows that gender-biased knowledge, data, and technology are created in R&D, resulting in loss of investment and sometimes a threat to valuable life by applying research results that do not reflect gender characteristics.

In order to solve these problems, Gendered Innovations in science and technology is a new global trend in R&D innovation, which aims to increase research excellence and create new future values by reflecting gender characteristics in R&D. The Korea Center for Gendered Innovations for Science and Technology Research strives to strengthen the capacity of Gendered Innovations in science and technology through the development of relevant content, provision of information, and policy proposals, and to increase the inclusive value of science and technology for all people.

We look forward to your warm interest and support in our efforts to advance humanity through Gendered Innovations in science and technology.

    Thank you.
